RICHMOND, Va. — Recently-separated Army Sgt. Vince Mills has stunned the local veteran community by refusing to start his own small business selling military-themed items, according to neighbors familiar with the situation. The furor started last week when Mills, an infantryman who deployed twice to Iraq and Afghanistan, told friends at a going-away party that he intended to join the national forest service and become a park ranger.
