UNDISCLOSED IP ADDRESS, The Internet — The military’s social media community is in an uproar today after the viral page known throughout the military as “U.S Army W.T.F. Moments” officially changed its name to “Sadly, No Longer Surprising Army Moments”. The name change came unannounced following another post related to the constant leadership failures at Fort Hood and across the Army.
Duffel Blog spoke with a representative from S.N.L.S.A.M. shortly after the change. “The name change has been something in discussion for quite some time now, and duty stations like Fort Hood made the decision pretty easy,” said “A.”, lead admin for the page. “We had it narrowed down to that, ‘Are you really surprised anymore?’, ‘It Figures’, or ‘Yeah, No Shit’ which honestly would have been more accurate,” A. said.
