Michael Flynn hired to teach un-ethics class at Army War College

“As a popular song goes, Gen. Flynn has ‘perfect imperfections,” an Army official said.

CARLISLE, Pa. — With a new take on ethics by retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the Army War College is training senior leaders to fight and win conflicts against foreign adversaries and the U.S. judicial system, sources confirmed today.

Though some critics may consider Flynn a poor choice for an ethics lecturer after his employment by foreign governments, twice pleading guilty to a felony, and recently calling for martial law, Army spokesman Stephen Drake said the Army War College considers Flynn highly-qualified and such outlooks shortsighted.

“Viewed holistically, he brings decades of experience from the Army, the intelligence community, and three years of intense plea-bargaining with the Department of Justice,” Drake said.

“As a popular song goes, Gen. Flynn has ‘perfect imperfections,” Drake added. explaining that the War College is adapting to prepare leaders for modern decisions like whether to divert school funds for a border wall or defending against immigrant caravans. “The current national security environment is ethically ambiguous. Leaders need to operate in it with the same ... agility ... as Gen. Flynn” he said.
