THE PENTAGON — General Charles Q. Brown, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, was seen going back to a bowl of candy bars labeled “take one” twice at the Joint Chiefs of Staff socially-distanced trick or treat event.
“I will be needing this for long-range Halloween capability,” Brown said, placing a full-size Snickers in the pocket of his Batman costume. “And I will be needing this for joint strike spookiness,” he said, motioning to the Reese’s cups in his other pocket.
General James P. McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army respected the sign, insisting that he only ever wanted a plain Hersey bar, as he was more focused on building ghost and goblin personnel readiness and designing excellent Halloween costumes.
