Taliban fighters launch hit YouTube series unpacking seized U.S. equipment

KUNDUZ, AFGHANISTAN — Social media experts are saying the only thing taking over Afghanistan faster than the Taliban is a popular new YouTube show called ‘Unpacking Afghanistan,’ which features two young Taliban fighters doing comedic gear reviews of captured U. S. and British military gear left behind during last month’s sudden and rapid withdrawal of coalition forces from Afghanistan.

The popular series is the creation of Taliban fighters, Wadaan and Khan, who produce the show as a side project while “righteously taking back the lands of the Prophet from the western devils” with their Taliban unit. Known to fans as the Merry Mujahideen, the duo are lifelong friends who grew up in the same Afghan village.

“We just love to make people laugh!” said Wadaan, as he wiped what appeared to be blood from a bayonet attached to his AK-47. “Just because we’re helping restore Sharia law and slaughter the motherless pigs who sided with the infidels doesn’t mean we have to be serious all the time, am I right?”
